Woodfield has grown into a beautiful company with 10 branches and 3 workwear shops. Personal contact and specialist knowledge are of paramount importance at Woodfield. Providing knowledge and advice is ingrained in the employees. You can also count on personal contact; we look at what suits your specific question and provide tailor-made advice. We are happy to go the extra mile; do you have a problem? Together we will find a suitable solution.
Woodfield is an organisation in which employees are given the space to develop themselves. The team consists of enterprising and curious people who want to move forward.
ALREADY 45 YEARS TOGETHER
About our history: Woodfield was founded in September ’74 by Willem Schaap. Together with his wife Joke, he built up an exceptionally beautiful company. He started selling tape in a garage building at Bosveld, the English translation of which is Woodfield. Soon Woodfield expanded with paint and other products for painters and plasterers.
Woodfield is a real family business and it shows. The second generation is now at the helm: son Jan-Willem and his wife Joffra Schaap. They are grateful that they are able to continue developing the business for future generations. That development is there, and it will continue to do so. Woodfield is now also a household name in Belgium. Woodfield has been around for 45 years, and to celebrate this, a magazine has been published with interviews, stories and information.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Corporate social responsibility deserves and receives constant attention within Woodfield. This means that we make choices with respect for people, the environment and society. For example, we ensure that we comply with all chemical requirements and our trucks comply with the Euro-6 standard.
We are also a BBL-learning company where young people can develop their skills. We also employ young workers with disabilities, who can develop under the supervision of an experienced supervisor. Furthermore, we sponsor various sports clubs and events, both regionally and nationally. Finally, we select a number of charities every year to do our bit.
